Another great tin cup that is an example of mass produced tinware in the mid-19th century and made of hot dipped tin. The original cup with this design and measurement was found on board the U.S.S. Cairo when it was salvaged. The cup measures 4.25" top and bottom diameter, and is 4 9/16" tall. The cup has a raised ring around the exterior of the cup. The original can be seen in The U.S.S. Cairo, History and Artifacts of a Civil War Gunboat, by Elizabeth H. Joyner. Made in USA.
