SUM is pleased to offer civilian vests that are quality made and yet affordable. Our vests can be made from the woolen colors listed in the options as well as gray, blue, and brown jeans cloth. Our vests feature hand sewn button holes and can be closed with brass coin buttons or cloth covered buttons. The vests feature two exterior pockets. Our vests also feature a japanned buckle closure on the rear and are lined and back with dark brown polished cotton. Chest sizes 38-52 available, and these vests do fit in the period manner so are meant to be snug and ride higher on the torso.
PLEASE NOTE - this garment is patterned from originals, and is not a long (in the body) vest that will fit over improperly or inaccurately made trousers. We cannot take returns for garments that fit historically accurately but do not fit like clothing that was inaccurately made, but you might "like" the fit of. We are not trying to be difficult, but our garments are made to fit in a historically accurate manner, not the manner of some companies who make historically "inspired" clothing that fits more like modern clothing.
If your size and color/fabric choice is not in stock at the time of order, a wait of 4-6 weeks may be necessary.
