We are very pleased to be offering another common early-mid 19th century style men's vest. This vest is double breasted and has a full length shawl type collar. The vest features hand sewn button holes and can be made with cloth covered or small brass coin buttons (others available by special request). We are offering this vest in our full variety of fabrics. The vest is lined and backed in brown polished cotton and features a belt adjusted back.
PLEASE NOTE - this garment is patterned from originals, and is not a long (in the body) vest that will fit over improperly or inaccurately made trousers. We cannot take returns for garments that fit historically accurately but do not fit like clothing that was inaccurately made, but you might "like" the fit of. We are not trying to be difficult, but our garments are made to fit in a historically accurate manner, not the manner of some companies who make historically "inspired" clothing that fits more like modern clothing.
