A piece of early American history. Simple. Meaningful.
This design is based on a handkerchief owned and used by George K. Johnson (1761–1864) of Germantown, Pennsylvania.
The Johnson family were well-known Philadelphia Quakers. In the mid-1800s, their home became a stop on the Underground Railroad. Today, that home is preserved as the Johnson House Historic Site.
