While researching men's trousers, I noted that 18th Century runaway ads listed men's trousers as being made from striped or solid wool flannels...which made sense due to linen being a little cool for cold and cooler weather.

We then set out to craft and make available trousers from high-quality light weight wool flannel, and our trousers ensure both durability and comfort. This is a light weight flannel, not heavy, and should be worn in conjuction with period undergarments. They are meticulously detailed with handsewn buttonholes, handsewn finishing, and adorned with authentic pewter buttons, enhancing their historical accuracy and charm.
