Thomas Jefferson "Purse" or Wallet

Thomas Jefferson carried the "purse" or small pouch in his pockets, and it was featured (see pictures) as one of the items that he commonly kept on his person.  These faithful reproduction Jefferson purses are 4 1/2 tall and 3 3/4" wide and are poppy pit dyed red soft vegetable tan leather, green leather interior flap and lined with blue paper.  The purses do expand to nearly 2" when opened, but close flat.  Great reproduction for your 18th century or 19th century impression!
