We have seen reenactors use "tobacco wallets" such as these for years, and decided to offer something that would be of practical use to those who wanted a central place to house their tobacco and pipes, matches, etc. These wallets are made from the same style pattern as a mid-19th century wallet. They are made from rubberized cloth and feature two compartments that each have a divider in between. The wallet measures 6 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches. A useful piece of kit for your pockets, knapsack, or haversack...depending on the situation.

Rubberized cloth tobacco wallet
I don’t smoke so I don’t know how it works with tobacco but this is an excellent general purpose pouch. I have used it for different Corps badges for different scenarios and right now I am using it as a period correct cover for first aid supplies like bandaids, pain meds, wipes, etc. holds quite a bit of flat items.
