We are excited to be offering a reproduction of an original mid-19th century match safe from our collection. The reproduction is made from brass and has correct construction, identical to the original, throughout the piece. It has the striking grid at the bottom of the safe to aid in striking matches, just as the original. This is the same match safe as the engraved brass, only without the engraving. We're not aware of anyone else that has reproduced these, so are excited to be offering such a unique piece to the living history and museum community!
