This is a great reproduction of a common 18th century snapsack, made from hair out goat hide. The strap is tanned leather and features a tinned iron buckle. The top of the snapsack can be drawn closed with a leather thong.

Item arrived in a timely fashion and is exactly as described. In fact, I'm really impressed with this bag. The sling is sturdy as is the bag and is incredibly comfortable to carry over one's shoulder and neck. Highly recommend this item!
