These socks are offered in response to the desire of several living historians to have a "plain" natural white sock after some socks that were being made during the war. This sock is all hand knit and is offered with the correct toe and common heel and are hand knit in 100% wool. Please note that many reproductions out there today offered by other authentic vendors are made with a "Kitchener" toe and short row heel, which are more modern sock features.
