For those who care about the details. It's difficult to get more authentic than these shirts....these are made in the USA from Pat Kline's cotton shirting cloth by an Old Order Amish seamstress who, without electricity, makes them on a foot powered treadle machine and completes the button holes and other appropriate finishing by hand. She has made all of the clothing for her large family for years and it shows in the quality of her work.
These shirts are made from the common "on the square" pattern of the mid-19th century and feature a sleeve gusset and fold down collar. Currently available in black/blue/white "Bertrand" plaid, that was custom woven for us by Family Heirloom Weavers, and is exclusive to South Union Mills.
Note - We try to keep several sizes in stock. If your size is not in stock at the time of order, a wait of 4-6 weeks may be necessary. Please understand this before ordering, as we cannot accept mid-order cancellations because an item doesn't make it to you for a particular event.
