A unique Civil War reproduction handkerchief based on the original carried by Silas Byrd of Company K, 10th Virginia Cavalry.
The original remains in the possession of Byrd’s family in Virginia, and permission was granted to reproduce it. Byrd’s service records show that he served from May 1862 through at least November 1863, with the 10th Virginia Cavalry present during major campaigns including the Seven Days, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Brandy Station, Upperville, Gettysburg, and Bristoe.
