54th Ohio Mucket

We are excited to have this reproduction mucket/cup that is an exact reproduction of a mucket carried by a soldier in the 54th Ohio Infantry.  This mucket/cup is very large, and measures 5.25 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches in height.  The lid has a loop on it for ease in opening   This cup is made in the USA by a skilled tinsmith from hot dipped tin.  The 54th Ohio was a western theater regiment that wore Zouave dress and participated in several of the major western theater campaigns.  The original cup is in a private collection in Cincinnati, Ohio.

This mucket came in the mail recently. I have yet to try it out on the field, but it is solid and looks good. I was surprised at the size of it and appreciate the effort that was made to make it. Looking forward to not only trying it out but also from hearing the compliments it will receive. I am constantly back to South Union Mills, purchasing quality merchandise.
